  2135. it's cheaper but I'd like to know if is there no trouble with most of demo

  2142. I can only tell what I've heard (or seen at Nexus arghh). If you buy an Intel
  2143. or AMD board with Vesa Local Bus then everything is ok. There can only be
  2144. problems when you buy a board with PCI bus. That's also the reason why so
  2145. many demos don't work properly on Pentiums (they have all pci bus). I'd advice
  2146. you to wait a bit and buy a DX4-120 VL which is a bit faster then an average
  2147. Pentium (Pentium75) and all your demos will work then. There are also prob-
  2148. lems with the internal cache from a Pentium which sometimes destroys the
  2149. timing in demos. I haven't heard that there are problems with AMD processors.
  2150. AMD is the only firm which produces the DX2-80 and DX3-100 and no problems
  2151. are known yet. BUT better do not buy a Cyrix processor, there should be some
  2152. real problems.
